First, it is not a compact lens, a large and heavy, but it produces very sharp and detailed images in the right conditions.

I use it with my Sony A200 and it works well on a tripod, but the success of his pocket a lot of sun a day is better or much high ISO setting because this goal is very difficult to control at extreme telephoto lengths. My Sony starts to flash the warning in the viewfinder to 200 mm, the credit, but the camera steadyFilming behaves well. That is why I suggest that this objective is used with a tripod.

Bottom Line, the price is a very nice goal. E 'strongest Sony or Minolta, and he does a little' hunting extreme telephoto (partly I think because of blur-induced weight), but overall quality of construction seems, at least for me, that slow Kit Sony.

Very nice lens at a great price – Dennis L. Turner – Odessa, TX
I bought the Tamron to go with my Sony A200 DSLR. The goal is really nice quality, and it works perfectly with the camera. Autofocus is fast and precise. This is certainly a goal of professional quality, but the price is wonderful. I recommend this for those who want a telephoto lens to add to their DSLR. I tried the Sony 70-300mm in a local shop, but I was not impressed. In particular, the ease of manual focus on Sony's goal was rather low. It's great in thisregard. You can not use manual focus, which often, but it's nice to have a goal that can handle the job when you need it.

Tamron Autofocus 75-300mm f/4-5.6 LD with Hood for Konica Minolta and Sony Digital SLR Cameras – Kristen P. Kowalski –
Excellent product and was delivered quickly and had a very good price.

Good & Cheap – J. H. Hawks – N.W. Ind.
Objective has been good up to full range. It 'a little' difficult to maintain attention, even with a tripod. Bravo to close in shots.

.45x Wide Angle & 2.2x Telephoto HD² Pro Lens Set for Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z6 Z5 Z3 Overview

Since it fits right over your camera’s existing lens system, a wide-angle and telephoto converter affects the full zoom range of your camera’s lens. A wide-angle converter increases your angle of view – scenes include more of the landscape, groups include more people, and interiors show more of the room. A .45x wide-angle converter DOUBLES your angle of view, allowing you to get twice as much in the picture (AND your telephoto setting also becomes wider; not zooming in as close). A 2.2x converter will double your camera’s maximum focal length, bringing things twice as close. An Opteka conversion lens can actually improve the image that your digital camera receives, and it’s about the only accessory that can. By eliminating flare and ghosting, the ugly cousins of reflection and refraction, before they get to your camera’s original lens system, your camera gets a much cleaner image to digitize. Plus, an Opteka converter allows you to use a more optimal part of your original lens system, resulting in more crisp imagery. Nothing changes the way you see the world like High Definition², and no company does High Definition² like Opteka. In the professional setting, Opteka’s glass optics define High Definition. Change the way you view the world. Enjoy outstanding detail, enjoy enhanced clarity, enjoy Opteka. With an Opteka 5 piece Lens/Camera cleaning kit it contains everything you need to maintain your Digital Camera! It cleans hard to reach lenses, protects battery contacts, and is very easy and safe to use. Works excellent for lenses, cameras, filters, and it also easily cleans LCD panels. The lens cleaning solution is specially made for removing oil and dirt. The Opteka table top tripod is ideal for backyard observation or anywhere – an ultra-compact tripod is all you need! Opteka lenses are covered by a lifetime warranty.
