There are a whole range of Nikon SLR digital cameras on the market, the worthy investments, and the Nikon D90 is one of them. The D90 is a Nikon digital SLR cameras that are suitable for occasional users and beginners, especially if they are not that concerned about the kit lens. The D90, however, get plus points for the known under the brand intuitive layout and video capabilities.

I always thought of the D90 alsoBut what I really wanted was the D300, because of its rugged magnesium housing and weatherization. But in the end I decided that it was worth shelling out the extra $ 600 just for a better camera. The D90 and D300 have the same sensor and ISO-range capability. Some reviews say for Nikon SLR digital cameras, the D300 pales in comparison to the D90 in terms of noise reduction.

The D90 also has an excellent control layout, are single button selectionon the left side of the screen you can easily picture quality, ISO, white balance access, and earlier recordings. Yes, the D90 has video capabilities, but that's not why I decided to buy it instead of the D300. Unfortunately, the video function, the expectations due to the lack of autofocus and sound failed to fulfill. It makes for a good extra feature, but it lacks the essential functions, it would have made a good video camera.

Many users like the kit lensthat comes with the D90, but I think you can get a better zoom lens from Nikon, which falls in the same price range of the D90. The sale price for the 18-105mm Vibration Reduction (VR) is reported to be $ 400. I have my Nikon 70-300mm VR for about $ 485, and it has a much better built with a rubber seal and metal mount. The kit lens that comes with the D90, has mounted no plastic and rubber seals, making them feel a bit cheap compared to the 70-300mm VR I bought.

If you're a casual oraverage user, and everything you need is a basic lens, then do the D90 kit lens would be likely. But if you are aiming to go semi-pro or pro, I tell you for the same VR, I've purchased. All in all, the D90 is a great camera, although lacking in the weather-proofing department. I give it four out of 5 Rating.
